- Off-site commercial signs are prohibited except as specifically permitted under Section 4.21.3.H (off-site signage conditions).
- Temporary or auxiliary off-site signage is prohibited.
- Off-site signage is not allowed on vacant property.
- Signs may not be attached to any utility pole, streetlight, traffic signal, tree, fire hydrant, bridge, park bench, or other location on public property.
- Vehicle, trailer, boat, or motor-vehicle mounted signs primarily or consistently parked, stored, or displayed to attract public attention are prohibited.
- Animated, inflatable, audible, or rotating signs, or signs with intermittent or flashing illumination, or that emit audible sound or visible matter, are prohibited (except time and/or temperature units).
- Signs displayed in a manner or location that prevents free ingress or egress from a door, window, or other exit are prohibited.
- Signs shall not be constructed or located in a manner that interferes with pedestrian or vehicular travel, obstructs clear vision of traffic, poses a hazard, or confuses/distracts traffic or pedestrians.
