- Plaques, cornerstones, and similar types of signs, not exceeding three square feet, when cut into any masonry surface or constructed of bronze or other noncombustible materials that are attached, adjacent to, or located near a structure designed to memorialize a person or event are exempt from permitting.
- Non-electronic window signs, not exceeding 20 percent of the total window area or 50 square feet (whichever is more restrictive), are exempt from permitting.
