## Sign plan & submission notes

- The ordinance does not use the specific terms 'master sign plan' or 'sign plan' as a general requirement for all signs or districts; instead, all sign permits require submission of a written list describing all other signs located on the lot indicating the sign type, size, and placement (Sec. 11-3.B.9).
- Variance applications for additional signage or height (generally for larger lots or business developments) require City Council approval and demonstration that all signs and structures within the business development comply with the article; this may effectively require a comprehensive sign inventory or plan as part of the variance process.
- There is no explicit requirement for a master or overall sign plan for business subdivisions, but the requirements for variance and permitting may necessitate a comprehensive submission.
