## Prohibited signs in Toledo

- No signs of any size other than street signs or traffic signs erected by a controlling government entity are allowed in the City right-of-way or public-way.
- Moving, flashing, or illuminated signs or colored lights that may be confused with traffic lights and therefore be potentially hazardous are not permitted.

- Illuminated industrial signs must not be of the flashing beacon type, and if facing a residential zone district or use, must be at least 100 feet away when measured perpendicular to the face of the sign.
