## Prohibited signs in Sparks

- It is unlawful to display, erect, place, establish, paint, or maintain a nonexempt sign except in conformance with the section.

- Signs on wind machines, cellular towers, or other equipment (except for logos not exceeding eight square inches) are prohibited.
- No sign may be placed without the express permission of the owner of the lot.
- No sign may resemble, simulate or conflict with official signs or use yellow or red blinking or intermittent lights resembling danger or warning signals.
- Signs which produce odor, sound, smoke, flame, or other emissions are prohibited.
- No sign shall obstruct or impair access to public sidewalks, streets, driveways, traffic control signs, bus stops, fire hydrants, or block light/ventilation of any residence on adjoining residential property, or mislead/confuse users of the roadway.
- All signs must comply with all codes adopted pursuant to Title 15 of the Sparks Municipal Code and other ordinances.
