## Prohibited signs in Croton-on-Hudson

## Sign plan & submission notes

- All signage applications (except temporary signs and certain residential yard signs) are reviewed by the Village Engineer, Visual Environment Board (VEB), and, as appropriate, the Planning Board.
- If signage is part of a site plan approval or a change of use approval, the Planning Board's decision on the site plan shall include its decision on the proposed signage.
- The Planning Board may require the submission of an illumination plan for illuminated signage.
- Where a building or site is permitted more than one sign by the provisions of this chapter, all new signs shall be consistent relative to one another in terms of size, shape, and location. Further, the Planning Board may require the submission of a master signage plan for the site which shows such consistency.
- The Planning Board may require a master signage plan as per Subsection N.
- For Waterfront Development districts, the Planning Board may require signage details as part of the site development plan review process.
- Modifications to sign requirements may be granted by the Planning Board, who may attach conditions to any such approval.
