- A sign permit is required unless a sign is exempted or is a specified temporary sign not requiring a permit.
- The Planning Board or Zoning Board may require, as a condition of site plan or special use approval, the type, number, size, design, and placement of signs in order to protect the interests of surrounding properties, the neighborhood, and the Town.
- Signs for sites with multiple tenants/businesses must be harmoniously designed, possibly requiring a master sign plan as part of site plan approval.
