## Prohibited signs in Phoenix

- No sign or other device for an advertising purpose of any kind may be erected or established in the Village except as provided in the ordinance.
- No sign may project into any public right-of-way.
- Billboards (signs not pertaining to the use, sale, rent or lease of property on the same lot and signs not representing construction or subdivision activity) are not permitted in any district, except for certain directional signs to local businesses or community establishments under specific conditions.
- Banners, pennants and similar devices are prohibited, except nonpermanent ones displayed for special public events, which may only be displayed for up to two weeks.
