## Prohibited signs in Middlefield

- Flashing, moving, inflatable, blinker, racer type, intermittent, rotating, moving or revolving signs, whirligig devices, tethered inflatable signs, pennants, ribbons, streamers, spinners, exposed light bulbs, and strings of lights not permanently mounted to a rigid background are prohibited.
- Interior illumination of signs, except as expressly permitted, is prohibited.
- Merchandise, equipment, products, vehicles or other items not themselves for sale and placed for attention-getting, identification or advertising purposes are prohibited.
- Permanent signs erected or attached to accessory structures are prohibited.
- No sign shall be placed on any curb, sidewalk, post, pole, hydrant, bridge, wall, tree, or other surface or structure located on public property or over or across any public street except as expressly authorized.
