## Prohibited signs in Ingleside

- No sign which is expressly prohibited, or which is not specifically described and allowed by this chapter shall be installed.
- No sign shall be installed except in compliance with this chapter.
- This division does not regulate signs located inside buildings except where expressly and specifically stated otherwise.
- No sign shall be erected, relocated, or maintained in a manner that prevents free ingress or egress from any door, window, or fire escape.
- No sign shall be attached to a standpipe or fire escape except official signs.
- Any sign erected or maintained within five feet of the public rights-of-way shall be smooth and free of protruding objects, nails, tacks, and wires.
- Permanent signs of eight feet in height or less shall be monument type.
- Attached permanent signs and freestanding signs shall be designed to resist wind load and to receive dead load as required by the city building code.
