## Signs exempt from permit in Glenrock

- Real estate signs. Such signs are limited to 32 sq. ft.
- Signs of public and noncommercial nature including, but not limited to, community service information signs, public transit signs, public utility information signs, safety signs, danger signs, traffic signs and signals, trespassing signs, scenic or historical point of interest signs and signs erected by a public officer in the performance of a public duty.
- Sidewalk signs – Such signs shall be permitted only in CBD, GB and I zoning districts. Each establishment may have one (1) such sign which shall take up a maximum of 2 ft. width of the sidewalk, and have no more than 8 sq. ft. per face. Any such sign shall be more than 4 ft. higher than the sidewalk and shall not impede pedestrian traffic. Such signs may only be displayed during business hours of that establishment and shall be restricted to the sidewalk which is adjacent to that establishment.
- Contractor signs – Temporary construction signs identifying the contractor engaged in construction on the premises. Such signs are permitted only during the period of construction.
- Home Occupation signs – Signs for home occupations shall not exceed 5 sq. ft. in area, shall be affixed to the building in which the home occupation is performed and shall not protrude more than 6 in. from the surface of the building upon which it is affixed.
