Sign Plan & Submission Notes for North Miami Beach
- No permit shall be issued for an individual sign requiring a permit unless and until a Uniform Signage Plan for the zone lot on which the sign will be erected has been submitted to the City Manager as conforming with Sec. 24-150.
- For any zone lot where the owner proposes to erect one or more signs requiring a permit (unless such zone is included in a Uniform Signage Plan), the owner must submit a Uniform Signage Plan per Sec. 24-150.1.
- A Uniform Signage Plan is required as part of any development plan, site plan, planned unit development plan, or other official plan and shall be processed simultaneously.
- A new or amended Uniform Signage Plan for a property with existing signs must include a schedule to bring all nonconforming signs into conformance within four years.
- After approval, no sign may be erected, placed, painted, or maintained except in conformance with the Uniform Signage Plan.
