- No signs may be placed on the public right-of-way without the express consent of the Village Board.
- Any signs placed in the right-of-way without consent will be removed by the village, held for seven days, and then discarded.
- No advertising signs are permitted in any Residential District.
- No advertising signs shall be located within 100 feet of the nearest wall of a residence located in a residence district in commercial districts.
- No person shall sell or offer for sale any traffic-control device to be used on any street or highway in the village which does not conform to the requirements of the chapter.
- Except as authorized with respect to nonconforming signs, all signs shall be in compliance with the provisions of the sign subchapter.
- Except for employees of the Village Street Department, police officers, contractors and their employees engaged in a highway construction contract or approved work, it is unlawful for any person to possess a traffic sign, signal, or marker owned by the village.
