- No sign shall be permitted which is animated or changes by means of flashing, blinking, animation or a changing image that wipes, fades, flashes, or any other means not providing constant illumination, except those permitted by § 157.048(C) and (D).
- The tacking, pasting, or otherwise affixing of signs of a miscellaneous character, visible from a public way, located on the walls of buildings, barns, sheds, on trees, poles, posts, fences, or other structure is prohibited unless otherwise permitted by this chapter.
- No sign or any portion thereof shall be permitted which moves or assumes any motion constituting a nonstationary or fixed condition, except for the rotation of barber poles, permissible changing signs, or permissible multi-prism units. Indexing multi-prism units must not exceed a speed of two complete revolutions every twenty seconds. Vehicular signage such as bus or motor vehicle signs is not prohibited.
- Business signs that advertise an activity, business, product, or service no longer conducted or available on the premises on which the sign is located, are prohibited.
- No person shall park any vehicle or trailer on a public right-of-way or public property or on private property so as to be visible from a public right-of-way, which has attached thereto or located thereon any sign or advertising device for the basic purpose of providing advertisement of products or directing people to a business or activity located on the same or nearby property or any other premises. This does not prohibit signage on buses or motor vehicles.
