  • No person, firm or corporation owning or maintaining any telephone poles, telegraph poles, electric light poles, lamp posts, guide posts, hitching rails or posts or other similar structures upon the streets, alleys, lanes, or other public places of the Village shall grant permission or authority to place thereon any signs, bulletins, writings, pictures, drawings, caricatures, advertisements, writings, or printed matter of any kind or any placards, papers, or any other similar article of any kind.
  • No sign shall be placed in any public right of way except publicly owned signs, such as traffic control signs and directional signs.
  • No building wall shall be used for display of advertising except that pertaining to the use carried on within such building.
