  • Projected signs—signs formed by projecting a message/image into the sky or onto a surface (e.g., the ground or the side of a building) with projectors, light beams, lasers, holograms, or similar technology—are prohibited.
  • Animated signs, or signs blinking, flashing, or emitting varying intensity of color or light, are prohibited.
  • Moving, revolving, or rotating signs, and banners and pennants with visible moving parts or movement achieved by wind, electric, electronic, or other means, are prohibited, except the manual changing of channel letters or numbers and hands of analog clocks.
  • Billboards, as defined in section 19-1, are prohibited.
  • Any sign that constitutes a hazard to public safety, health, or impedes vision or access to or from public streets, sidewalks, or ingress/egress, is prohibited.
