  • No sign may be erected within fifty (50) feet of a street/highway regulatory sign, traffic sign/signal, crossroad, or crosswalk, unless it is shown not to interfere with visibility or be distracting/confusing to traffic.
  • No sign placement or design shall block or impede the visibility necessary for safe vehicular movement, especially near intersections and driveways.
  • Bench signs may only be located at MTC bus stops.
  • No signs with moving parts or flashing lights are allowed, except for specific time/temperature displays.
