- No sign may be located so that it obstructs the line of sight of motorists at intersections or along a public right-of-way.
- Signs that revolve or are animated or that utilize movement or apparent movement to attract the attention of the public are prohibited.

- Signs shall not obstruct any window, door, fire escape, stairway, ladder, or opening intended to provide light, air, ingress or egress for any building, structure, or lot. This provision does not apply to temporary paper signs.
- No sign shall be permitted on any public right-of-way except as specifically authorized. Traffic regulation, information, or warning signs erected by the State Department of Transportation, signs erected by the Town, or signs located in the Central Business District are exempt.
- Any sign located in such a way as to intentionally deny an adjoining property owner visual access to an existing sign is prohibited.
