  • No sign may be erected or maintained in the public right-of-way unless an encroachment permit has first been obtained for the sign.
  • No signs other than official traffic signs shall be erected or maintained nearer to a curb or shoulder than a distance equaling half the height of the sign or 15 feet, whichever is less, unless attached flatly to a building.
  • No portion of a sign shall be positioned in a manner that exceeds the height of the primary structure on the property on which it is located.
