  • Signs painted on fences or retaining walls are not permitted.
  • Strings of lights, flashers, flags, pennants or other display paraphernalia are not permitted, except those displays specifically authorized by this Part.
  • Overhanging signs are not permitted.
  • Signs on or affixed to vehicles and/or trailers which are parked and visible from the public right of way, where the apparent purpose is to advertise or direct people to a business or activity, are not permitted (with limited exceptions).
  • Signs located within public rights-of-way are not permitted, unless otherwise provided herein.
  • No sign shall be located in such a position that it will cause a hazard by obstructing visibility for traffic on a street or obscuring a traffic signal or other traffic control device.
  • No sign, other than official traffic signs, shall hang over, or be erected within, the right-of-way of any street.
  • No sign shall be located within the clear site triangle of any intersection.
