- No sign shall be located in such a position that it will cause a hazard by obstructing visibility for traffic traveling on a street or entering onto a street or by obscuring a traffic signal or other traffic control device.

- All signs must be securely mounted or fastened to the building or, if freestanding, securely and safely installed in the ground. All signs must meet minimum wind load requirements per applicable building codes.
