- Any sign located in such a way as to deny an adjoining property owner visual access to an existing sign.
- Vehicle-mounted signs, excepting those that are exempt under Subsection (a)(8).

- Exterior warning signs necessary to provide notice of an unapparent safety risk, such as 'beware of dog,' 'warning: electromagnetic device in use' or notification of a security system, each not exceeding one (1) square foot in area.
- Vehicle signs. Signs permanently or magnetically attached to motor vehicles or trailers which are being operated or stored in the normal course of business, such as signs on delivery trucks; provided that the primary purpose of such vehicles is not for the display of signs and provided that such vehicles are parked or stored in areas appropriate to their use as vehicles.
