- It is unlawful to erect, cause to be erected, maintain or cause to be maintained any sign described as follows:
- Any sign constituting a traffic hazard or detriment to traffic safety by reason of size, location, movement, content, coloring, or method of illumination.
- Signs of such intensity or brilliance as to cause glare or impair the vision of any motorist, cyclist, or pedestrian using or entering a public way.
- Any sign that obstructs the vision between pedestrians and vehicles using the public rights-of-way.
- Words and symbols associated with traffic control so as to interfere with, mislead or confuse traffic, e.g., 'stop', 'look', 'caution', 'danger', 'slow'.
